GENRE: Historical Fiction

Blurb:

When Cassie Alexander is committed to a nineteenth-century Ohio asylum, she is stripped of her name, her voice, and her identity—reduced to a number behind locked doors. Inside the institution, neglect is called treatment and silence is enforced as obedience. As Cassie witnesses the suffering of forgotten women, she must decide how to survive in a system designed to erase her. Delusional Madness is a haunting historical novel about injustice, memory, and resistance.
