Freedom of Movement - Bob Freely

Bob is a retired professional engineer using some of his free time slowly navigating his small 50 year old sailboat from the UK down the western seaboard of Europe into the Mediterranean. Presently berthed in Tunisia North Africa he uses quiet moments on passage and peaceful time at anchor, and whilst at home, to think and write about his thoughts on various humanitarian subjects. The Talking Freely book series is planned as a trilogy, Freedom of Movement is now published, Freedom of Thought & Speech is around 70% complete and Freedom of Association is being researched. During his working career, he has visited more than 40 countries with various projects, sometimes up to 30 times. Uniquely providing cultural insight into differing local peoples and their governance. His ongoing passion for travel continues to reinforce his belief in the inalienable nature of human rights, his interest in history motivates his research and a concern with world affairs encourages the recording and sharing of observations which support and advocate for an end to the abuses of the freedoms of man.

GENRE: Social Study

Blurb:

This is the first in a planned series of three books that discuss the freedoms of man. The first book is titled Freedom of Movement, discussing what it is, how it has changed as man has evolved, the forms it has taken throughout history, how illusory it is, how it is used as a control measure, who imposes these constraints and how change is needed. The extensive research will increase awareness and help support positive dialogue.
