Dr. Avraham J. Roos (b. 1965, Netherlands) is an educator and linguist with decades of experience in Torah and English instruction. A former Head of Hadracha (Guidance) for Bnei Akiva Holland, he holds a Ph.D. in Cultural-Historical Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam (2022), focusing on English translations of the Pesach Haggadah. After making aliyah (immigrating to Israel) in 1991, he taught at yeshiva high schools and later served on a Jewish Agency shlichut (emissary mission) in Antwerp (2001–2004), teaching Tanach at Tachkemoni School. Currently, Dr. Roos lectures at Herzog Academic College and Orot College, specializing in English and Academic English. He resides in Israel with his family, including six children and seven grandchildren.
