From Handbags To Hand Grenades - Mark Robertson
Mark spent most of his career as a technician in the world of theatre, film, and TV. Often, either in-between rehearsals, or at the end of a day’s work, he would take pen to paper and use the time writing as a way of clearing his mind and relaxing before moving on to the next issue of the day. In 2016 he decided to turn his pastime into a paid environment and studied with the British College of Journalism, where he gained an HND in the subject. Since qualifying, he has had multiple articles published in national newspapers and magazines and now works as a newsreader for two London based radio stations. Mark is based in Dorset and is currently studying to be a light aircraft pilot, after winning a competition to gain a pilot’s licence.
