Lyn Pike is a retired civil servant who loves comedy. On gaining some free time she thought it would be fun to try her hand at writing a sit-com and within a few months had written twelve episodes. On finishing her creation, she tried to get it in front of the right people to get it commissioned but this proved impossible. It seems that the TV channels will only view work through an agent and an agent will only agree to represent you if you have already had something commissioned. Undeterred Lyn decided to convert her work into a book. The result is 'Gary and Brenda . . . Sometimes!' As well as loving comedy, Lyn loves music, beautiful gardens and animals, (she says some humans aren't too bad either).
