In 2019, Rami transitioned to academia, joining Northern Kentucky University (NKU) as Simulation Education Faculty. His role involved designing and implementing simulation-based curricula, engaging in research, and serving as a liaison across healthcare programs. In 2023, he advanced to Manager of Clinical Simulation Operations at NKU, overseeing the daily functions of the simulation center. His responsibilities include strategic planning, resource management, technology oversight, and operational leadership to support high-quality simulation experiences.
