Love to Man as Water to Life - Gloria Fiorani
Born in Vetralla (VT) in 1980, Gloria Fiorani developed a strong passion for reading as a child. After a school career that, in spite of herself, deviated from this passion, in 2012 she obtained a Master's degree in Euro-American Languages and Cultures and later a Master's degree in E-learning at the University of Tuscia. In the meantime, she delovoped a love for writing in all its forms, which could not find outlets outside of simple personal journals. She turned to poetry in 2018, driven by the curiosity to experience a new way of expressing her emotions, and her passion for it spurred her to try her hand at writing a book, the collection of poems "L'Amore sta all'Uomo come l'Acqua alla Vita". In 2019, her poem “Alba marina” was awarded an Honourable Mention in the 3rd Poetry Competition “Capire per Capirsi”.

Blending lyrical beauty with spiritual depth, these verses speak of transformation, nostalgia, inner strength, and the silent power of moments that define us. From shimmering metaphors of moonlight and sea to tender reflections on grief, rebirth, and belonging, this book is both a journey inward and a bridge outward—connecting the reader with their own memories, emotions, and dreams.
