Gregory was educated in England, majoring in film, television, American literature, fine art, history, and philosophy, with a baccalaureate honors degree in fine art. He was trained as a journalist, specializing in documentary development at BBC London. Documentation and collections for content-driven institutions and National Museums are part of his professional world of photography and cinematography. He has produced screenplays and documentaries.
