The Lionesses Roar Again - The story of how England Won the Euros twice in a row - Phil Woods
Phil Woods started his book rating in 1992, with his friend Steve Smith. It wasn’t until 2009 when their first book was published, Beat About the Bush - The funny side of language, a book influenced by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. The book looks at the funny things that we say day in, day out. This book reached number one on an Amazon chart in November 2009. His second publication was a children’s book called Grump Goes Shopping, a character that Phil has often said is potentially his alter ego. Phil then built a website called The Daily Skid - the mark of excellence. He wrote a new satire news story every day for two years. He wrote a lot of these stories with his co-author Steve Smith, they released a book with 75 of the most popular stories from the website.
