The Star - Lisa Marie Wooding
Lisa Marie Wooding is mum to two wonderful children. Parenting has been the best adventure she's ever been on. It’s rewarding, challenging and no two days are ever the same. She has an NHS background and Psychology/English degree from Bath Spa University. Since focussing on her children, she has started to write about her experiences and since one of her children is non-verbal, she feels it is imperative to spread a positive message about neurodiversity.

Do you have a child who masks? Maybe you mask yourself? This little story is all about a beautiful little star who thinks she’s different from the rest of the stars. She thinks she’s so different that she needs to cover this up when she’s with other stars. She thinks she has to be like the rest of them, not understanding that her uniqueness and everyone’s uniqueness make up the world that we are in. It would be boring if we were all the same. Neurodiverse or neurotypical, does it really matter?
