The Whispering Wall - Phil Burnham
Phil grew up in the historic market town of Thame in Oxfordshire, where he lived with his mum and three brothers. His childhood was shaped by adventures in green spaces and nature with his close friends; many of whom remain lifelong friends. After graduating university with an honours degree in criminology, Phil pursued a career in teaching and has been a primary school teacher for over twenty years. He is passionate about storytelling and inspiring children to create imaginative stories. Phil has travelled extensively throughout Lithuania, a country that is close to his heart. He continues to explore its landscapes, culture and history, and is always happiest when walking through its vast forests or relaxing in its quiet towns. The forests of Palanga and Druskininkai have inspired parts of Maddy-Grace’s adventure, along with many happy memories of walking along The Ridgeway National Trail with a special friend. Phil loves ducks; he has two special ones that explore the world with him! He is passionate about racing, although he has not (yet) taken part in any secret moonlight unicorn races like Maddy-Grace has. Those who know Phil say that he has not grown up… and never will!
