Smooth Wheels - Lorna Marsh

Lorna Marsh has loved writing from an early age, inspired by the stories of Roald Dahl — the man she credits with sparking her passion for storytelling. Her determination and drive were shaped by her mum, who always encouraged her to pursue her dreams. For Lorna, writing is a way to relax and explore worlds that exist only in the imagination until they are fully brought to life on the page. Although writing can seem like a solitary career, she believes it is anything but lonely — every story is full of characters and adventures that keep her company. She often finds that the best ideas come unexpectedly, falling onto the page as the story unfolds, revealing surprises even to the writer herself. Lorna is a powered wheelchair user and has Cerebral Palsy Quadriplegia. Her experiences bring a unique perspective to her writing, and she is passionate about creating stories that are imaginative, exciting, and full of heart.
